Charles Aznavour In Venice

I received an email from France Billets recently and I’m happy to tell you that Charles Aznavour will be appearing in Venice at the Piazza San Marco on July 16. Don’t I sound happy? Really, I am. Imagine seeing this legend perform in what the New York Times describes as "undoubtedly the most beautiful city built by man". (This is incorrect information of course – it's really Paris). I read on Wikipedia that Venice has an average of 50,000 tourists a day (2007 estimate). 50,000! I hope the venue is big enough to accommodate all Aznavour’s fans (even though he'll be missing one) because with the daily arrivals, there will be huge fights for seats!

July 24 he’ll be singing in Monaco.  I'm happy about that  too.  Truly.  I'm off to buy a lottery ticket.
