Blogging and Blabbing, No Time No Time

It's starting to show!  Keep calm......
Another week has flown by and I don’t know where the time goes. The minutes seem to melt away and I'm running, not walking, from one thing to another. This isn't the first time I've had a busy schedule, but I can't seem to quite get it together. I should have some time to relax a bit and "smell the roses", but I can't even find the flower bed!

So, here’s what’s happening -

Well, work every day. That pretty well sums up five days of the week so not much can be done during office hours (except what I get paid for that is).

French lessons at night twice a week and so far, I’m thoroughly enjoying them. My instructor, Audrey, is from Aix en Provence and she’s very nice and a super teacher. With the use of headphones, a microphone, and the computer, we chat while doing the lessons which makes the whole process painless (at least for me – I’m not sure Audrey would agree listening to my broken French). This takes up two nights a week plus study time (and I need hours and hours).

Next, we’re getting ready for the big move in June so at home we’re packing, sorting, tossing and generally turning our current place into one big mess. But, it can’t be helped. We have too much ‘stuff’ and it has to go before spring. This pretty well takes up the weekends.

Just as I thought! Suspicious!
Art work - is always on my mind but so far, I’ve produced nothing this year. My printing press is gathering dust, my pastels are getting hard, and inspiration is slow in coming. I just can’t seem to work in a room that is full of boxes and generally disorganized. So, art work will have to wait until after the move.

I'm having fun with everything that's going on, and this is a temporary situation, but......I'm a bit on the frazzled side.  If only I didn’t have to sleep. That would be great. An extra 8 hours a day would do the trick....or a little "pause" à Paris (time well spent)!

And how was your week?

  2. Will do! Who made the 24 hour rule? Someone who had nothing to do I suppose :)
